Through data driven planning and collaboration, Gemma helps the airport reduce emissions while maintaining safe, reliable service for passengers and cargo.

Gemma brings extensive experience in environmental management to her role at the Greater Moncton Roméo Leblanc International Airport. Her work spans energy use in terminal buildings, waste reduction, and community partnerships, with a focus on embedding sustainability into daily operations and long term planning.

Working with Green Economy New Brunswick, the airport has completed a greenhouse gas inventory and begun charting a path toward meaningful reductions. Gemma supports this by engaging staff, identifying efficiency upgrades, and connecting climate initiatives with the airport’s role in regional economic development.
