“I like to feel passionate about where I spend my time. With work being such a large chunk of our lives, I knew that if I was working towards reducing the impact of climate change in some way, shape, or form, then I would be fulfilled by my job.”

Jane’s advice to other organizations is to start where they are, focus on the biggest emissions sources, and involve staff from across the organization. By pairing data with lived experience, Port Saint John can design climate solutions that are both practical and impactful.
